VolleyReplay
Privacy Policy
Local camera recordings and replay, with optional audio, Photos export and sharing.
Draft privacy notice for the version reviewed on November 1, 2026. The legal operator is awaiting confirmation. Privacy contact: info@cleversparkslabs.com. The legal details and the final app release must be checked before this notice is used for an App Store submission.
1. Who this notice covers
This notice describes VolleyReplay, presented under the Clever Sparks Labs brand. It is separate from our website privacy policy. It does not describe features that may be added in a later release.
2. Information used in the app
The app processes camera images for live replay and records videos you choose to save. Recordings can include identifiable athletes, spectators, surroundings and audio when microphone access is allowed. Saved videos and library information are stored in the app's local library.
The reviewed version processes these records on your device. It does not automatically transmit them to Clever Sparks Labs, and we do not have remote access to your app library.
3. Permissions and on-device features
Camera access enables recording and replay. Microphone access allows audio to be included in recordings. Permission to add to Photos is requested when you choose to save a video there. You can change these permissions in device settings; disabling a permission can prevent the related feature from working.
4. Sharing you choose
You can share a saved video using the Apple share sheet or save it to Photos. The service or recipient you select receives that copy. Videos saved to Photos may sync through iCloud Photos depending on your Apple settings. Clever Sparks Labs does not receive a copy through these features.
Sharing a copy does not give us control over it. Recipients and selected services may store or forward it. Do not send confidential records to us unless a support process specifically requires them.
5. Backups and Apple services
Local storage does not mean that copies can never leave the device. Depending on your settings, Apple or a computer backup may include app data. Backup retention, restoration and deletion are controlled through those services. We have not disabled backup of the app's stored records.
Apple may separately process App Store transactions, device diagnostics or information you choose to share through Apple services. This notice does not replace Apple's notices. This review did not verify App Store Connect diagnostic access or the final distribution build.
6. Advertising, analytics and sale of data
The reviewed version has no advertising network, third-party analytics or crash-reporting integration, or cross-app tracking feature. We do not sell the app records described above or share them for targeted advertising. Device processing is different from the technical information involved when you visit this website, which is described in the website policy.
7. Retention, correction and deletion
Local records remain until you remove them, delete the app or otherwise erase the device's app data. Use Delete Video in the app or the library deletion controls to remove saved videos from the app's library. Copies already saved to Photos, shared elsewhere or held in backups are separate and must be managed in those locations. Deleting the app removes its local library, but offloading the app can preserve its data.
We cannot retrieve, correct or remotely erase local records that we do not receive. Removing permission stops the related access but does not automatically delete existing records, exports or backups.
8. Information about other people
Record only where you are permitted to do so. Follow venue, club and applicable privacy requirements, and obtain any necessary consent before recording or sharing other people, especially children. Camera permission from the device owner does not by itself establish permission from everyone being recorded.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
You control what you enter, which optional permissions you grant and what you share. Depending on the law that applies, including Canadian federal or provincial law and applicable U.S. state law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to a privacy regulator. These rights and any exceptions depend on the circumstances.
Because the reviewed app does not send us your local library, we cannot provide a server-held copy of it. For privacy questions or requests about information we hold, email info@cleversparkslabs.com. Please include the app name and enough detail to explain your request without attaching unnecessary sensitive records. This draft does not claim certification or compliance with every Canadian or U.S. privacy law.
10. Security and changes
Protect your device with a passcode and keep it updated. Review sharing destinations and manage access to exported files and backups. No device or service can guarantee absolute security.
We will update this notice when the app's practices change and display a revised date. A material change involving new collection or sharing will be explained before that practice begins, with consent requested where required.
